Pink Eye Monday
Amazing what kind of excuses people come up with to take a day off! It is especially charming when it comes from the same person (let's refer to him in this blog as the protagonist) who manages an award-winning excuse week after week. Whenever I think the protaganist has said it all, I am mistaken. Apparently, I keep on forgetting that when the aunt of a neighbor's cousin has fever or if he runs out of cat food at home, it is more than enough reason for him to take a day off or probably work from home, depending on how long it takes to buy the cat food or whether the neighbor's cousin's aunt's fever subsides a little bit.
What will it be tomorrow? It has almost become an exciting game of "What Can It Be Now?" The Pink Eye Diaries is here to document it all. Today is Monday and believe it or not, our favorite protagonist has the pink eye and so this blog is born! I'd like to hear your own excuses and all you've seen and heard. I bet it's wilder than a pink eye!
